In searching out a condo to purchase, I stumbled upon a listing that peaked my interest - my old apartment! That’s right, it’s gone condo…for the bargain price of $225k.

The next installment in the James Bond franchise is due out November, 7th - titled: “Quantum of Solace.” Daniel Craig is back in the title role. I was really surprised at how well he was in the role, very natural and commanding. I started to read a website outlining the plot, but I want to be surprised so I stopped reading!

I am so excited to see that Chelsea Handler’s new book “Are you there, Vodka? It’s me Chelsea” is finally released. Like I mentioned previously, I read her first book in one sitting and it left me wanting more. I’m going to pop by B&N Monday after work and pick up a copy.

I’m also stoked beyond belief for the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 4. It is a valentine (albeit a bloody one) to NYC. I’m really impressed with the attention to detail and level of realism I’ve seen.

This is our Ikebana bed new for spring. It was inspired by a vintage textile from Martha’s vast collection. It’s so beautiful - I’m thinking about getting it for the bedroom. It has an interesting Asian floral embroidery on the duvet, which is a woven chrysanthemum pattern. Its subtlety isn’t picked up in this photograph. The standard shams have a Asian geometric pattern and the euro shams have a pin-tucking detail around the flanges. The sheet set has a simple embroidery along the cuff of the pillowcases and flat sheet. If you are near a Macy’s store, check it out!

I forgot to post…it’s official: I was promoted to Product Manager. I’m so excited about this! I’ve pretty much been doing product manager work for the better part of the year and finally have the title to match the work. I am really proud of the bedding and bath products (all products really!) that we bring to market. Thanks again for all your support and enthusiasm for me working at MSLO!

I forgot to mention that I also received AirPort Extreme for Christmas. It’s really powerful. I previously had AirPort Express which, because of the number of wireless networks in the area, wasn’t cutting it. So, I now have it in the bedroom which extends the range even further for the Extreme. Now I really want to try the wireless data storage and printing options.

I received a copy of this book from Chris and Shelly for Christmas. So, seeing how I am on vacation, I thought, why not read a book? So, I started. I read the book in almost one sitting, in one day. Which, with my attention span, never happens. This book was truly one of the funniest books I have ever read. I could not control my laughter in some parts. If you’re looking for a funny, raunchy, and uncomfortably honest read, pick it up.
